DOT Announces $523 Million for Airport Infrastructure Upgrades

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) recently announced more than $523 million in Federal Aviation Administration grants to modernize airport infrastructure across 43 states. The funding includes 332 grants through the Airport Infrastructure Grants program and will support runway rehabilitation, taxiway and apron improvements, terminal upgrades, baggage system replacements, and other safety-related projects.
