DOL Announces Prevailing Wage Seminars for Federal Contractors

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division (WHD) has announced a series of free virtual seminars in 2026 to help current and prospective federal contractors understand prevailing wage requirements. Geared toward contractors in federally funded construction and service projects, the webinars will cover key requirements under the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts and the Service Contract Act.

The two-day online seminars will be held May 20-21 and Sept. 23-24, with participants able to select sessions across either day.

As part of WHD’s broader outreach efforts, the trainings aim to increase awareness, promote compliance, and reduce the risk of violations. Attendance is free, though advance registration is required, with access details provided upon sign-up.
