Construction Material Prices High and Rising in U.S.

Data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Producer Price Index showed U.S. construction material prices increased 1.4% in January and are up 40.5% since February 2020. Experts believe higher input prices are still to come. That’s according to the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), a U.S.-based trade organisation representing more than 23,000 construction firms in the country.
