The University of Southern California Conducting Research on Construction Workers and New Technology

This study is recruiting individuals who meet the following criteria:
- You are over 18 years old.
- You are a skilled construction/demolition worker (e.g., equipment operator, worksite superintendent)
- You are proficient in oral English to participate in an individual interview.
- You have direct work experiences in state-of-the-art construction technology, including but not limited to robotics, automation, drones, decision-making technologies for project planning and management (building information modeling), etc.
If you decide to participate in this study, you will be asked to do the following activities:
1. Participate in a one-hour interview via the video communication platform Zoom.
During these activities, you will be asked questions about:
- Your work experiences and positions in the construction and demolition industry and the type(s) of innovative technology you used or interact with in your work
- The processes involved in determining what technologies are capable of
- Changes in work pattern/routine since the introduction of the new technology
- Changes in health and well-being since the introduction of the new technology
Participants in this study will receive a $100 electronic gift card via email after the interview.
