Safe + Sound Week 2026
March 06, 2026
New Year Safety
As we enter a new year, take this time to recommit to a safer, healthier workplace. Make it your resolution to reset your safety and health program, set clear goals, and take time for proactive planning.
Safe + Sound Week 2026

Safety and Health Program Recognition
One way to recommit to safety and health is to recognize workers when they meet or exceed safety and health goals. This year, Safe + Sound Week is August 10–16, 2026, with a focus on safety and health recognition programs. Safe + Sound will encourage organizations to highlight the practices of employers who get it right. Recognition allows employers to demonstrate leadership in their safety and health strategies by highlighting progress, engaging in their workforce, and bringing attention to most important issues in their workplace. Safety recognition programs motivate companies, teams and workers to keep safety front and center.
Take Our Newest Challenge
As a workplace leader, recognizing safe workers shows your team how important safety and health is to your organization. It also provides another opportunity to remind workers about your organization’s safety policies and reporting procedures.
Recognize your workers’ proactive and ongoing contributions to safety and health with a Safety Wall of Fame.

Take the Challenge.
