Renaissance Center Future: Bedrock Secures Blessing From Development Authority

The Downtown Development Authority has given its blessing and a $75 million commitment to plans to transform the riverfront and space around the Renaissance Center. The project includes knocking down two of the Detroit river-facing towers part of the downtown complex and turning the concrete-centric area into a space resembling Navy Pier in Chicago.
