For Your Information: 2024 BLS Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries

NDA wants to make you aware the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) released its 2024 Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries (CFOI), which includes comprehensive, accurate and timely counts of fatal work injuries in the United States. In 2024, there were 5,070 fatal work injuries recorded — a 4.0% decrease from 5,282 in 2023. Transportation incidents were the most frequent type of fatal event, accounting for 38.2% (1,937) of all occupational fatalities.
